Highly Trained and Experienced

Dr. Aldo Guerra received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He then obtained a total 6 years of surgical training including 4 years of general surgery at UCLA and 2 years of formal plastic surgery training at LSU Health Sciences Center.

He specifically trained in plastic surgery, including surgery of the breasts, body and face. After completing his training, Dr. Guerra served as Instructor in Plastic Surgery, teaching medical students and residents techniques in the specialty of plastic surgery. He has published 25 articles in the peer-reviewed literature and several book chapters on multiple subjects in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Guerra is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

His philosophy includes the belief that to be successful in plastic surgery, the plastic surgeon must fulfill, as best as possible, the patient's desires and wishes. In order to accomplish this, Dr. Guerra combines his previous experience and highly specialized training with the latest technological advances in aesthetic plastic surgery.

Dr. Guerra's focus is on establishing long-term relationships with all his patients. He listens carefully and thoroughly to his patient's desires while providing excellent care for all his patients. His practice is devoted to performing only those plastic surgery procedures for enhancing the appearance of the human form. The most commonly performed procedures include breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction, facelift and rhinoplasty.
